The Michigan Connection and 7 Paintings

Nice little feature here from Michigan Today, the online news from University of Michigan. They put together a cool slideshow with some of my Simple Pleasures paintings. (Thanks for the support, fellow Wolverines)

“First Snow” was featured. And quickly sold. Man, did that one strike a nerve. One of the simplest paintings I ever did, and people seem to love it. Ya just never know. I tend to dig the complicated, busy ones, but there’s no accounting for your own taste. Tchaikovsky never liked the Nutcracker Suite.  Go figure.
